Veibae claims VShojo threatened her with lawsuit after she left VTuber group
VTuber Veibae has revealed that VShojo threatened her with a lawsuit if she talked about them following her exit from the agency.
On July 21, VTubing superstar Ironmouse revealed that she was leaving VShojo. The decision was made after claiming that the org hadn’t paid The Immune Deficiency Foundation $500K from her viral charity subathon. She hassince raised over $1.1 million for the charity.
Ironmouse’s exit from the VTuber agencyprompted a number of others to follow suit,including Kson, who had been live with the CEO at the time.
Veibae,who left Vshojo back in April 2023, noted that the closure of the agency meant the end of her NDA, allowing her to fully open up about her contentious exit.

“And so our NDAs are now void. Back in 2023, vshojo tried to bully me into one of the most predatory contracts that i have ever seen. When I tried to ask more about it, their COO got extremely hostile with me and refused to answer any of my questions and so I had to hire a lawyer in order to get some clarification,” the Vtuberpostedon X (formerly Twitter).
“In order for me to leave, they demanded I sign an NDA that prevented me from speaking to any of the other talent about it. I could not say why I was leaving, I could not say what the terms that I was saying no to were.
“I even got in trouble for advising them to hire their own attorneys. They would watch my streams, read my Discord, and then threaten to sue me. If I said anything that hinted towards how I really felt about the company, I was threatened with a lawsuit.”

Veibae added that VShojo coordinated her and Silvervale’s exit on the same day “to minimize the damage to their company.”
As noted,VShojo has shut downas of July 24, with former CEO Justin Ignacio confirming that they ran out of money to pay out their talent.
