Based on the Naughty Dog video game franchise, theUnchartedmovie was released in 2022, following the young thief Nathan Drake as he is recruited by the seasoned treasure hunter Victor Sullivan to find the fabled fortune that once belonged to Ferdinand Magellan. TheUnchartedcastwas led by Tom Holland as Nate and Mark Wahlberg as Sully, alongside Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Rudy Pankow.
Now, over two years after the video game adaptation’s release, a sequel is officially in development. During Sony’s presentation at the 2024 CineEurope trade show (viaVariety),O’Dell mentioned that a sequel toUnchartedis one of their many movies in development. However, there was no confirmation that Holland is returning.
