Tiny Chef “saved” as creators reveal next steps for viral animated show
Days after news of its cancellation went viral, The Tiny Chef Show has been “saved,” with creators teasing what’s next for the now mega-popular animated icon.
Not many can say they were aware of The Tiny Chef Show prior toits cancellation in June. It wasn’t until the creators animated the titular character’s reaction to the news that it really caught fire.
A heartbreaking clip showing the poor little Tiny Chef in tears after a call from Nickelodeonblew up across social media, with millions of new fans willing to “die” to save the adorable animated show.
Well, it appears the outcry has worked. While there’s no indication of The Tiny Chef Show being renewed by Nickelodeon or picked up by another TV network, its creators have said their viral project is now “saved.”

Given the staggering reach of the viral reaction video, the animators behind it were quick to funnel new fansto the Tiny Chef’s own website. Here, they asked for viewers to join a “Fan Cwub” or donate whatever they could, as they “need crowdfunding to keep going.”
Now, it looks as though they’vehit their targetand raised enough money to keep the lights on for the adorable chef and their friends.
“The team is getting ready to turn the tiny cameras back on in Chef’s tree stump home because you all have SAVED TINY CHEF!” a July 2 Instagram post confirmed.
“The outpouring of love messages, fan art, and donations have truly meant the world to the team. We are excited to get back to work and capture Chef’s next journey!”

Clearly, the plan was a success. There’s more Tiny Chef content on the way as its creators get back in the kitchen and cook up new material. Whether this comes in the form of full-blown episodes or shorter clips with viral potential remains to be seen.
Of course, given how early it all is, there’s no indication of when we may see new Tiny Chef content either. Though with the eyes of the world eagerly watching for the next recipe, we’re sure Tiny Chef doesn’t want to keep their new fans waiting all too long.
