The Film Has An Impressive Character Roster
Thunderbolts*is an exciting project for the MCU, coming at a time when the franchise needs more team-ups, as several new characters have been introduced and many players have gone years without appearing. The movie includes characters like U.S. Agent, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, and more. Something that has drawn attention is the fact that many of the MCU’s Thunderbolts members are either super soldiers or hand-to-hand fighters.
While that brings less variety to the team, it can helpThunderboltsavoid recent MCU criticism. The shared universe has had issues with VFX in recent years, with some projects getting criticized for their heavy use of CGI. Thanks to howThunderbolts’s roster is mostly made up of grounded heroes, power-wise, the MCU film does not have to employ a huge level of VFX for its main characters.
