Tectone loses it after making 8x more on Kick than Twitch with less viewers

Twitch streamer Tectone has made the jump to multistreaming, bringing his talents to Kick, and on his first stream, he was stunned by how much more money he was missing out on.

On June 2, former OTK stars Asmongold and Tectonestarted streaming on Kickand did so without ever signing deals with the Stake-owned site.

Instead of special deals, like Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’smassive $100M contract, both Tectone and Asmongold just had the KickPartner Program, which entitles them to 50% of total Partner income while multistreaming.

Well, just over three hours into his first broadcast on Kick, Tectone was left absolutely in awe at how much money he was making with less viewers compared toTwitch, even with less viewers.

Streamers are making huge money multistreaming on Kick

After pulling up his dashboard, Tectone was in shock after seeing that he had made over $1,000 in three and a half hours of streaming on Kick.

“What the fk? This is the greatest site to stream on that I have ever seen. Holy fk that is so much money! That is insane. Holy sh*t! Goddamn!” he exclaimed. “That means in one stream I just made 10x what I would have made on Twitch. That is f**king psychotic.”

Tectone promised to do a full revenue breakdown once all his payments were processed, but based on his early numbers, the streamer is convinced that Kick is a far more lucrative option for creators.

“It looks likeKick, you make about 8x more than what you make on Twitch with less viewers,” he added.

On X, Tectone boasted that he had no idea how welcoming Kick would be given the site’scontent moderation issuesin its early days.

“I was going in expecting the worst of the worst to be in the chat. What I was met with was a very kind active and supportive community just excited to have another streamer join them,” he said. “I think the dark age of Kick is now over. A new age is here, and I’m glad to be taking part in it.”

Despite his early success on Kick, Tectone isn’t done with his multistream journey. Just like how Asmongold plotted to take his broadcasts to Elon Musk’s X platform –something Musk himself welcomed. Tectone is doing the same and decided to stream to X, Twitch, and Kick on June 3.

We’ll have to see if this recent Kick boom causes more streamers to join multiple platforms, especially with the major financial incentive that comes withmultistreaming.
