Severance Season 2 finale will be the show’s longest and most violent episode yet
We’re less than two weeks away from theSeverance Season 2finale, and thanks to its age rating, we know it’ll be longer than any other episode in the series so far – and there will be blood.
Last week’s episode ofSeverancehas proven to be divisive. It followed Harmony Cobel as she journeyed toSalt’s Neck, her frost-bitten hometown left to fend for itself (and addicted to drugs) after Lumon shut down its ether mill.

It was a pivotal chapter of the story, revealing Cobel’s past with Lumonand putting her on a collision course with Mark and Devon.
Rest assured, the last two episodes of the second season will strike a better balance between all the characters – and we’ll have plenty of time with them, too.

Severance Season 2 Episode 10 age rating reveals huge runtime
Severance Season 2 Episode 10 is 76 minutes long, and it’s been given an MA 15+ ratingby the Australian Classification Board for “strong violence and blood and gore.”
For context, every other episode of Severance has been rated M for Mature in Australia – apart from Season 2 Episode 8, which earned an MA 15+ for “strong drug use.”

Notably, Severance isn’t a violent show. Its most action-packed moments include Irving trying to drown Helena at Woe’s Hollow andAsal Reghabibattering Doug Graner in the first season.
However, the Season 2 finale’s themes and violence are said to have a “strong impact” – and, considering it’s the longest episode in the show to date, fans are curious about what that means.

A big warning for Severance fans before Season 2 Episode 8

Severance Season 2 Episode 8 doesn’t deserve the hate and there’s a simple reason why
“For reference Defiant Jazz where Helly hangs herself and Reghabi kills Graner was yellow for themes and blue for violence, and Chikhai Bardo where Gemma miscarries is yellow for both, so what the f**k could possibly be coming?” one userwrote.
“Can’t believe this finale is going to be bloody and brutal! So curious,” another commented. “Somebody not making out of the season alive,” a third theorized. “75 minutes?? Sh*t is about to hit the fan,” a fourth wrote.
