It is possible to level up fast and consistently. Leveling up quickly can be a great advantage inShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. There are typical avenues like grinding for battles, but also alternate means. Some provide large chunks of experience points slowly, while others are smaller amounts that are fast and consistent.
You should keep in mind that the release ofVengeancenow includes two branching storylines. “Canon of Creation” is identical to the originalShin Megami Tensei 5plot.“Canon of Vengeance” is the new campaign route forVengeance. While most of the leveling methods are the same, some strategies, locations, and parameters might change per branch.

How To Beat Mitama In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
Mitama are some of SMT V: Vengeance’s most frustrating demons. With 4 variants and randomized affinities, you will need an item to defeat them.
Leveling Up Fast in Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
There are opportunities for leveling everywhere. It is important to not be concerned with the raw number of experience points displayed, and concentrate more on the rate you are leveling up. In other words, low amounts of experience points tend to be earned easily, while large amounts are rare or difficult to obtain.
Complete Main and Side Quests
The most consistent leveling comes by purely playing through the missions presented inShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. This includes both the mainline quests and any side quests found in towns, dungeons, and the overworld. Main story quests tend to be the more difficult to approach, as the developer’s expectations are that you have already advanced to defeat various bosses. This makes it a great plan to complete all side quests before moving on to the main objectives.
Focus on Attack Power
When you level up the main character you are given the choice of which stats to improve. This can range from Strength, Vitality, Magic, Agility, and Luck. Rather than making a balanced character, focusing purely on either Strength or Magic will result in a glass cannon that can defeat monsters even faster.
Likewise, only focus on bringing monsters that also deal high damage, even if they lack defenses. A dead enemy can’t attack, making healing or high hitpoints a non-factor while solely leveling up.However, be sure to mix both physical damage dealers and spell casters.

Battle Consecutive Fights
The majority of fights are against a single unit of foes. However, you will sometimes engage in a Consecutive Encounter. During these, reinforcements will join, creating waves and waves of foes. If your team is strong, it should be no issue wiping them out and collecting the large mass of experience points. attempt to farm any of these battles, including Abscesses in the open world, that always have at least one Consecutive Encounter. Often, this can be donewhile also hunting for Miman.
Demonic Discipline Miracle
For the most part, only the active team will gain a significant amount of experience points. But,the main character can purchase a special Miracle, Demonic Discipline, for just 150 Glory. Once gained, monsters in reserve will be granted an extra 25% experience points. While not a huge amount, it can level up unused characters without the risk of them being killed. It is still amongthe best Miracles to invest in.
While it will still take time to reach max level, there shouldn’t be an excessive need to level grind inShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. Keep things steady, and you should be at or near the recommended level for each main fight. This allows more flexibility to build the team you want and focus on the next plot beat.
