House crashed the couple’s date at a restaurant during episode 11’s final scene and discovered Wilson was dating Amber, one of the former applicants for House’s open fellowship positions. Amber was the last doctor cut from the running because House thought her ambition and winning attitude weren’t suitable for the position. Nevertheless,Amber’s surprise connection with Wilson meant she was sticking around inHouseseason 4.
Amber Died After Being In A Bus Accident
Although Wilson and Amber seemed like an incompatible match at first, as season 4 continued, it became evident why they gravitated toward one another and made sense together. They loved and respected each other, and as one ofthe most likableHousecharacters, Wilson deserved a healthy and exciting romance. Amber also wasn’t afraid to stand up to House, which was necessary for anyone dating Wilson. However, the writers seemingly didn’t want to keep Wilson happy for very long as the relationship abruptly ended whenAmber died at the end of theHouseseason 4 finale.
House woke up in a foggy state in season 4, episode 15, “House’s Head,” after surviving a deadly bus accident. Unfortunately, House was also missing parts of his memory from the crash but knew he saw someone else on the bus who needed his help.House eventually remembered that Amber was the person who was with him when the bus crashedand was seriously injured. Episode 16, “Wilson’s Heart,” picked up where the previous hour left off, with Wilson and House finding Amber at a different hospital, where the doctor explained that she was experiencing tachycardia, but he didn’t know why.

The crash caused acute kidney injury, so, Amber’s kidneys were unable to filter out the amantadine, and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her.Amber spent her last moments with Wilson, who held her in his arms as she died,making the season 4 finale one ofHouse’s saddest episodes.
