Hidetaka Miyazaki confirms FromSoftware’s desire for highly-requested Bloodborne PC port
FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazaki says he’s just as keen for a Bloodborne PC port as fans… don’t tell anybody though.
FromSoftware is as busy as they’ve ever been with the greatly-anticipatedShadow of the Erdtree DLCabout to release for Elden Ring. Still, that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten about their beloved back catalog.

Since players first managed to wrap their minds around the cosmic horror masterpiece that is Bloodborne, they have beenclamoring for a sequel. As the years have relentlessly moved on with none in sight, the goalposts have been shifted. First toa remake of the first game, then to a 60 FPS update, and finally toa PC port.
After spending a long time graciously dodging the question, FromSoftware mastermind Hidetaka Miyazaki has finally relented to the constant questions surrounding a Bloodborne PC port. Speaking toPC Gamer, he put the ball in PlayStation’s court.

Miyazaki haspreviously touched on the Bloodborne PC portby deferring to Sony who holds the rights to the IP. The answers are usually diplomatic, but perhaps some Summer Games Fest fatigue made him a little more candid this time around.
“I know for a fact these guys want a Bloodborne PC port,” Miyazaki said in reference to some FromSoftware employees present for the PC Gamer interview. “If I say I want one, I’ll get in trouble as well. But it’s nothing I’m opposed to.”

Normally he’d finish there but in an uncharacteristic turn, Miyazaki continued; “Obviously, as one of the creators of Bloodborne, my personal, pure honest opinion is I’d love more players to be able to enjoy it. Especially as a game that is now coming of age, one of those games of the past that gets lost on older hardware.”

“I think any game like that, it’d be nice to have an opportunity for more players to be able to experience that and relive this relic of the past. So as far as I’m concerned, that’s definitely not something I’d be opposed to,” Miyazaki finished.
A Bloodborne PC port is still firmly in the hands of Sony, but there is hope given their introduction of exclusive titles to the PC platform. Not to mention, they recently acknowledged that the game existed for the first time in forever. Granted,it was in an Astrobot trailer…
