Hasan slammed by Twitch viewers over claims he earns as much as a doctor
Twitch star Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker has faced criticism after claiming during his stream that he earns the same amount of money as a doctor or partner in a law firm.
Over the years, the opportunities have only risen for creators broadcasting live as streaming has continued to more mainstream. OneTwitchstreamer who has remained at the top is hasanabi, AKA Hasan Piker.
Despite this,Hasanwas quickly hit with waves of backlash by his viewers and across socials over claiming that his earnings are the same as those of a doctor.
Hasan claims he earns same amount of money as a doctor
Hasanaddressed comments towards his house during hisstreamon June 12, 2025:
“Who gives a sht about the house, who fcking cares? These guys are so f*cking stupid. I make, I make like, you know erm, 10-year doctor or, like, you know, law firm partner money, okay?
“Which is a lot. For the average joe, it is a lot. But these mother f*ckers think I am Jeff Bezos because they aresostupid. That’s it, they’re stupid.”
Many flooded in to slam the streamer after one viewer posted the clip toreddit. One responded: “Really weird he would say this because it’s so far from the truth. Like who are you fooling with that lie?”
Much of the criticism revolved around his comparison that “he makes the same amount of money as doctors.” “Dunno wtf kinda doctors Hasan knows but as far as I am aware there aren’t very many doctors making 200k a month,” one commented.

A user added: “At best a private practice plastic surgeon in LA who is fully established with people like Jennifer Aniston as patients. So a fairly small group. And even that doctor has a f*ckton more overhead so still doubtful.
Some surged to his defense stating: “is a man not entitled to a $3,000,000 house?? come on….” As another claimed: “he’s probably raised more money for charity than everyone in this entire sub combined. And ofc it’s not even a mansion but that is lost on people who so clearly wish it was.”
At the time of writing, Hasan Abi has not responded any further regarding the situation, that has quickly became a hot topic among the Twitch community.
