Details about the event are still scarce, but there are mentions of a new temporary map that will even tease some of the upcoming gameplay mechanics arriving with the release of Natlan inGenshin Impact.

Normally, in these types of events, players need to muster up specific points that are exclusive to the event they are participating in. By reaching certain level thresholds, players unlock the respective rewards, and characters are often gifted toGenshin Impactplayers in such a manner. As such,it is safe to assume that players will need to gather points and will then automatically unlock Kirara.

Additionally, Kirara is a decent shielder so, while she cannot match the potential of Zhongli, for instance, players can still have a reliable shielder on the team that contributes to the overall Dendro spread on opponents. If players have already obtained her and the new Version 4.8 leak is accurate,they may get a chance to unlock Kirara’s Constellations, which can then deepen her mastery over Dendro application. The 4-star unit may still be weak individually, but with the proper team comp, aided by the upcoming Emilie, Kirara could be a great free character offered in Version 4.8.
