PerVariety,Yvette Nicole Brown will guest star inFrasierseason 2 as Olivia’s sister, Monica, who has been referenced several times throughout the revival series as her sibling rival. According to her character description, Monica is “part haughty professor, part Nancy Drew, brilliant, biting, and delightfully deadpan.” She is Olivia’s “perfect older sister” who “has everything Olivia has and everything Olivia wants – and never misses a chance to remind her.” Co-showrunners Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli shared a joint statement welcoming Brown to the series:

Who Else Has Frasier Season 2 Cast?
TheCommunitystar is the latest newcomer to join theFrasiercastfor season 2.Brown’s casting was preceded by the Emmy-nominated Amy Sedaris(Exit 57) as Dr. “Doc” Stathos. According to her character description, she is a “municipal therapist with a down home” and “scattered veneer” who works with the firefighters at Freddy’s firehouse and is also a “big, BIG fan of Frasier Crane from his old TV talk show.”
Season 2’s guest stars will also include Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle who, as Frasier’s former radio producer, was a main character in the original series and returned for theFrasierreboot season 1 ending.Season 2 is also set to introduce Greer Grammer, the daughter of Kelsey Grammer, as a grown-up Alice Doyle, who was born in season 5 of the original series. In the revival, Alice is now in her late 20s and, described as “friendly” and “outgoing,” she has “inherited more than some of her mother’s free-spirited ways.”
In season 2, having just recently relocated to Providence to study architecture, Alice is eager to reconnect with Freddy and “complicate whatever romantic plans he may have.” For now,Frasierseason 2 has added three new cast members – Brown, Sedaris, and Greer Grammer – each of whom will expand on existing characters (Olivia, Frasier, Roz, and Freddy) in different ways.
