Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars won’t include one of the best MCU characters
The picture of whatAvengers: DoomsdayandSecret Warswill look like is slowly starting to unfold, but unfortunately, it sounds like it’ll be missing one of the most important MCU characters right now.
The stakes are high for the upcoming era ofMarvel movies. There’s new characters to integrate, like the Fantastic Four, the Russo Brothers have to redeem themselves after the highly-criticizedThe Electric State, and nobody quite knows how Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is going to fit into things.

But we can sure we’ll see some familiar faces. Captain America (Sam Wilson), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), and Doctor Strange (Stephen Strange) will all be returning to battle this new otherworldly threat.
However, there’s one hero who may not be coming back, and while it isn’t exactly surprising, it’s left plenty of fans disappointed.

Scarlet Witch may not be in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars
While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter to promote her new sci-fi movie The Assessment, Olsen dropped a hint that she wouldn’t be joining the rest of the cast and crew while filming the upcomingsuperhero movies.
Olsen was in London recently filming Sam Esmail’s Panic Carefully, a new thriller movie, which is also where both parts of the new Avengers movies are about to start filming back-to-back.

When asked if the Russo Brothers would be extending her stay in the UK,she replied, “No, I’m back [in the States]. I just finished [Panic Carefully]. I’m moving on to filming a pilot for FX [called Seven Sisters].”
So from the sounds of it, Olsen isn’t involved in the Avengers production, for now at least.

It’s obvious why Florence Pugh’s Yelena is in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Chris Hemsworth debunks big Avengers: Doomsday theory after viral ‘goodbye’ video
It shouldn’t be all that surprising to anyone who watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. At the end of the sequel, Wanda ended up collapsing the Darkhold Castle on top of herself in an attempt to destroy the Darkhold.
Her formidable powers and high status within the current MCU had left many fans hoping she would return in some capacity, but now, things aren’t so clear.
“Marvel had one of the most popular female characters responsible for a nearly billion dollar movie and then just fumbled and never used her again,” saidone fan’s responseto the news on X.
“If she’s not returning, then I’m not either!”another said.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on August 12, 2025, with Secret Wars on August 08, 2025.
