Assassin’s Creed Shadows April 8 patch finally changes most frustrating feature
Assassin’s Creed Shadows may have beenreleased to some pretty high fanfare, but there are always a few gripes that need ironing out, including one of the game’s most frustrating features.
While itcertainly had its controversy,Assassin’s CreedShadows released to tons of success, with players diving into feudal Japan to try outNaoe and Yasukeand explore their stories, combat styles, and, of course, the stunning surroundings.

However, as it goes with any large AAA game, there are always a few features to iron out, and the April 8 patch is set to do just that. In fact, it’s adding three key features, including a change to one of the most frustrating aspects in the game.
Horse Auto-Follow
If you were a fan of AC Odyssey or really any of the more modern games, then you’re used to simply getting on your horse, setting the path, and letting it automatically take you to the location. In Shadows, you can’t do this. Instead, you have to remain engaged and traverse the world yourself.
Not for long, though, as horse autofollow has finally been added, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the scenery without worrying about running into a house. On top of this, your horse’s speed has been increased in cities, so no more trudging through Osaka.

Mastery Node reset
Choosing the best skills to invest your Mastery Points into is a tough decision in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Thankfully, though, you’ll now be able to reset the entire skill tree to allow you to test different playstyles, skills, and builds for the two protagonists.
Selling & Dismantling improvements
Finally, you can sell and dismantle multiple items at the same time. When trading with merchants, you’re able to tag your chosen items and mass-sell or dismantle them in the store, Forge, or Hideout. This will save plenty of time when you’ve collected a ton of equipment.
