A Pokemon player is fusing every Gen 1 Pokemon into a hideous chimera

One determined Pokemon fan is on a mission to combine every single creature from the first generation into a single hideous beast, and they’re not done yet.

Pokemonfans definitely have a soft spot for the first generation, with Pokemon Red and Green originally released all the way back on July 11, 2025. The classic creatures pop up constantly, being the first to arrive inPokemon Go, and some stalwarts like Diglett got new forms inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Those original 151 Pokemon have had the most time to earn a place in our hearts, so it’s not a surprise to see countless examples of great fan art and fun ideas surrounding the first batch. Plus, you’re sure to spot a lot of trainers keeping our cute pals Pikachu or Eevee as abest buddy.

However, there’s a saying that says “something, something, Aipoms and typewriters” or whatever, so you’d better believe there’s someweirdfan art out there. Well, Reddit userTB_Mumpitzis currently on a mission to mash every singlePokemon from the original 151 into one, horrifying, chimera.

Yup, this is truly nightmare fuel and the sort of horrible thought we might imagine at 3am after staying up too late in Lavender Town. Poor Gastly is rocking the Pidgeot haircut, a helpless Weedle is working hard at the end of an Onyx tail, and we’re nowhere near done yet.

The original 151 Pokemon form a haunting fusion in this strange fan art.

As this most recent post explains, artist TB-Mumpitz is currently on day 80 out of 151, on their mission to graft together the many different ‘mons from Red, Green, and Blue. They’re even taking the top comment from each post to inform the next addition. Get in there now if you fancy chucking a Psyduck beak on Kingler.

It’s not the first Pokemon fusion, as the mainline games feature legendary pocket monsters like Kyurem and Necrozma that use some fun fusing mechanics. Then there are the greatfan-made websitesthat allow you to imagine what fusing any two Pokemon would look like, which is a very silly (but addictive) way to spend an afternoon.

This could be the scariest Pokemon fusion we’ve ever seen though, which is perfect for Halloween, but we can’t say we’re itching to see the pained Lovecraftian image of dozens of Pokemon mashed together in the next mainline title.
